Expert Appraisal of Cultural Property for Export Abroad
The Odesa National Fine Arts Museum offers an expert appraisal service for paintings and sculptures intended for export abroad.
How does it work?
- Bring the artwork in person to the museum (5a Sofiivska Street) and check in at the reception desk.
- We examine the artwork and photograph it, after which you may take it back home.
- Preparing the appraisal takes up to 10 business days. Our staff describe the artwork, assess it, complete the required documents, and once everything is ready, we send you the finished appraisal.

*The appraisal is free of charge for: authors serving in the Defense Forces of Ukraine, and for works from the museum's own collection. A 50% discount on the appraisal is available upon the author's request.
